Extending your Team: Should I hire a VA and let go of my in-house staff?

The popularity of virtual assistants is remarkably growing as they are continuously doing remote work for huge companies and small start-up businesses. Due to the variety of skills that a VA can offer, most companies are now hiring more and more virtual assistants.

Does this mean you need to let go of your in-house staff?

Not necessarily.

Virtual assistants can be your main staff, or, THEY CAN BE AN EXTENSION OF YOUR TEAM.

Let’s admit it, there are still some tasks that cannot be done virtually, like mailing letters, photocopying or taking charge or your reception area. Hiring virtual assistants to be a part of your team does not mean you need to let go of your trusted secretary who’s been with you for years. VAs can be a great addition by handing over any other task your secretary cannot do.

On top of it all, you don’t need to worry about these:
  • PURCHASING EXPENSIVE OFFICE EQUIPMENT
  • TRAINING/UPGRADING COSTS
  • PROCESSING FOR SICK DAYS, PENSION PLAN, MATERNITY LEAVE AND SUCH
  • HOLIDAY PAY
  • WORKER’S COMPENSATION FOR INJURIES

Experts have calculated that businesses can achieve 40% savings in their expenditure when they choose VA services.

These businesses are increasing sales and ROI through cost-cutting but it doesn’t include reducing office expenditures or laying off workers. They avoid such drastic measures by hiring virtual assistants.

Do you see now, why you need to extend your team with virtual assistants?

These reasons are just a preview of the big show that VAs can provide you. It’s just a matter of time until every company hires a virtual assistant because once VAs are in, they’ll help you and your team to get better and you know what, it’s never too late to hire one.
